As Reform UK take control of Kent County Council, the Liberal Democrats surge to double our number of seats and become the official opposition.
At the May 2025 elections, 12 Liberal Democrats were elected to Kent County Council, the official opposition to Reform UK. This is the Liberal Democrats' largest Kent County Council group for over 20 years.
