Improving KCC’s Blue Badge System

The Liberal Democrat Group have put a motion to Full Council on 10th July a motion calling for improvements to the Blue Badge scheme, amongst other things to better support those with cancer or other life-altering conditions who currently have applications rejected on the basis that the council could not determine if their condition would last for three years.
Some of the changes would be around the Council's own processes, and some a call to Government to allow for a change to the legislation.
