In the Kent County Council Local Election on Thursday 1st May 2025, the Liberal Democrats doubled their seats from 6 to 12. The Liberal Democrats are now the official opposition to Reform on Kent County Council, and have the Liberal Democrats' largest Kent County Council group for over 20 years.
