Experienced Campaigner required to help Liberal Democrat Local Parties move forward

South East Region Liberal Democrats are looking for a part-time Development Officer, initially for 2 days a week. We want someone who can help Local Parties establish challenging but realistic development plans and help them take them forward. The job will also involve supporting election campaign teams in key area local elections and by-elections and providing literature support and training as priorities and available time permit.

The job holder will work to priorities set by the Regional Executive but be managed on a day-to-day basis by a line manager assigned by ALDC who will agree tasks. Training will be provided as agreed with the line manager.

As most of the work will be in the field with Local Parties and campaign teams, travel around the Region and working evenings and weekends to fit in with volunteers will be essential. A driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage.

A full job description and person specification can be found here.
