By-election help needed in Dover

7.35.00pm GMT Mon 20th Aug 2007

A by-election has been called in the Dover ward of Maxton, Elms Vale, Priory. This is through the resignation of a Labour 'heavyweight', Keith Sansum.

Labour are in disarray in Dover and Deal with lost seats, lost heavyweights and public splits bordering on acrimony. The Lib Dems came a close second contesting a Town Council seat in this ward last year, so positive signs are there.

Polling day is:- Thursday 27th September.

Between now and then, the local party intend to campaign hard with several leaflets and need YOUR help to deliver them.

**THE FIRST LEAFLET IS READY TO DELIVER NOW**
