Victoria Cross and Ribbon

In the two World Wars the Gurkha Brigade suffered 43,000 casualties, and to date it has won 26 Victoria Crosses - 13 by Gurkhas and 13 by British Officers.

1. A Gurkha Warrant Officer Class 2's monthly pension after 22 years in the British Army is £155.

2. A Non-Gurkha Warrant Officer Class 2's monthly pension after 22 years in the British Army is £949.

If you don't think that's fair, and that ex-Gurkha's should be paid a fair pension, there are two things you can do about it:

1. Sign the petition for a fair deal for Gurkhas at http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/gurkha/ and learn more about the campaign campaign for a fair deal for Gurkhas at www.gurkhajustice.org.uk.

2. Tell your friends, family and others about this campaign by posting more information and links about this campaign on your web site / blog or sending them an email.
