David White fights Hellingly by-election for LibDems

Following the resignation – having only been elected to Wealden District Council in May – of one of the two Conservative Councillors for Hellingly, David White will be fighting the ensuing by-election for the Liberal Democrats on Thursday 29th October.

David will be seeking to regain his seat which he held for 12 years prior to May. David is the current Chairman of Hellingly Parish Council having been a parish councillor for 28 years, 25 years of which he has been Chairman. David says

“You may know already that the Conservative District Council propose a further 9350 new homes  in addition to all the housing which has been built in and around Hailsham and Hellingly over recent years.”

A solicitor, and a very experienced councillor, David is just the person to speak up again for the local community. With all that is proposed for this area now is not the time for inexperienced well intentioned amateurs or those with no true knowledge of the facts.

If you can help David’s campaign to regain this seat please email us.
